Here’s how a utility bill audit works
- You give us one recent set of bills.
- We go through 3 years of bills.
- We work with the utility company.
- We don’t disrupt your business.
- If no recovery, no charge for audit.
- If recovery, share 50% as our pay.
Our proprietary software is used in the audits to check for wrong surcharges, incorrect taxes, tariffs, and application of rates, duplicate billings and other administrative errors.
We are experienced in working with the utilities, know the process and paperwork they need, and stay current on regulations that change frequently. You don’t have to know how a utility bill audit works. You can focus on your business and don’t have to handle any of the required paperwork needed to obtain refunds or future savings. Knowing how to do a utility bill audit can take years for an auditor to master.
There is not upfront cost for an audit of your organization’s utility bills!
There are NO obligations and NO up-front fees. Our compensation is based solely on the cost savings we deliver. After you receive a refund or credit you share 50% with us. If we find that there are no overcharges, then you owe us nothing. We can also track your utility bills for the next 2 to 3 years to ensure that there are no more errors on your bills. A utility bill audit requires little of your time, but can bring extra funds to you organization.
It’s easy to get your utility bill audit started:
- You give us one recent copy of each of your utility and telecom bills.
- We review your bills. If we identify any errors you give us completed one-page Authorization and Agreement forms authorizing us to do the full audit. Then we take it from there.
- We conduct a comprehensive audit of your bills going back at least 3 years.
- We submit all the paperwork to the service provider requesting the amount that is due you.
- We followup with the utility or telecom company until you receive your refund.
- After you receive your refund, you then share 50% with us as our compensation.
